What percentage of homeless people are veterans in NC?
Why do veterans experience homelessness?
Lack of Affordable Housing is one of the top causes of homelessness for veterans. Often, the amount of funding or assistance allowed for housing is lower than landlords and housing developments accept.
The HUD-VASH program adopted Housing First strategies in 2012. The approach, an internationally recognized best practice, has proven effective for veterans

LAND PURCHASED BY SAM4VETS
He moved away from there and dug another well, and they did not quarrel over that one; so he named it Rehoboth (broad places), saying, “For now the Lord has made room for us, and we shall be prosperous in the land.” GENESIS 26:22
